We can transfer the following formats to hard drives upon request:
- P2 cards
- SxS cards
- DVCProHD
- HDV (Sony)
- DVCPro
- Digital Betacam
- Betacam SP
- DVCAM
- MiniDV
Files generated will be Quicktime files as the transfer is done through Final Cut Pro. We do not log footage as it is transferred, it is simply a conversion to a hard drive for ingest into your system. Hard drives can be provided by you or we can provide one of your choosing — we do NOT accept hard drives back under any circumstances, the cost of the drive will be included on your invoice. All hard drives will be Mac formatted. After transfer the data MUST be checked by the client at Visual EDge and any concerns voiced at that time. No responsibility will be taken for data corruption, loss or hard drive failure once the hard drive has left Visual Edge. Upon request, Visual Edge will keep a back-up copy of the data for seven (7) days to ensure safe transport to your edit facility and then it will be erased.
