We are proud to offer the depth of field system from Letus.
The Letus Ultimate is the newest depth of field adapter from Letus and it’s most advanced. With only a 1/2 stop of light loss, the ability to work with cameras at any shutter speed and lenses at any f-stop the Ultimate more than lives up to it’s name.
The Ultimate can be paired with the Panasonic HVX200, Sony EX3, HVR-Z7U and Z1U and we have available a set of cine-modified Nikon 35mm prime lenses.
The Letus B4 Relay Lens allows the Letus Ultimate to be used with any 2/3″ camera, creating a shallow depth of field similar to that created by motion picture cameras. The B4 relay lens has it’s own iris control and back focus adjustment which gives the Director of Photography the most control over the image they are creating. While the system, when fully built and mounted on a camera, may look imposing it is actually no longer than a standard HD lens.
